About · Her Prep Academy
Built by people who live the game.
Her Prep Academy is a digital basketball academy built for one thing: developing female basketball players. 100% online, 100% for the women's game.
Our mission
Every girl deserves a real development system.
Not a pile of random drills. Not a men's program with the logo swapped. A complete curriculum — built for the women's game from the ground up — that takes a player from her first fundamentals all the way to the college game.
Train With a Purpose isn't a slogan. It's the whole point: every workout has a reason, every month has a destination, and every player knows exactly what she's working on and why. We're creating the future of women's basketball training online.
Why we're doing this
Most players are training without a map.
A 12-year-old beginner shouldn't train like a 17-year-old varsity player. But most of online basketball training is just "here's today's workout" — generic sessions handed to everyone, random drills collected from TikTok and YouTube. Players don't actually know what they should be working on.
We built the system we wished existed: your age determines your training environment, your skill level determines your curriculum — and everything runs on one loop: Assess, Prescribe, Train, Measure, Progress, Repeat.
The team
Built by coaches, not content creators.
Where we're from
Founded in Martinez, California.
Her Prep Academy was founded in Martinez, California — and the Academy is 100% online, so players train from anywhere.
What we train
Five pillars, one system
Every workout in the academy is built on the same five pillars — so nothing is random and nothing is skipped.
- Ball Handling — command of the ball under pressure
- Shooting — repeatable, game-speed mechanics
- Finishing — scoring through contact at the rim
- Passing — seeing the floor and delivering on time
- Game Skills — reads, decisions, and basketball IQ
Skills sit inside a wider mix: strength, speed, athleticism, and basketball IQ. And everything runs on the same loop — Assess, Prescribe, Train, Measure, Progress, Repeat.
The pathway
Four books, one pathway
Your age determines your training environment. Your skill level determines your curriculum.
