Privacy policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

This policy explains what information Her Prep Academy (“we”, “us”) collects through herprepacademy.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email arnav1kumar11@gmail.com.

Who our members are

Her Prep Academy trains female basketball players from about age 8 through college. Accounts, memberships and the player profile quiz are meant to be set up by a parent or guardian, or by the athlete herself if she is 18 or older. We don't knowingly let children under 13 create their own account. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information without a parent's involvement, email us and we'll delete it.

Information we collect

• Account details: name, email address and password (stored securely by our login provider; we can't see your password).
• Membership and billing: your plan, its status and renewal dates. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store full card numbers.
• Player profile quiz: the athlete's first and last name, grade, playing level and position, and her answers about ball handling, shooting and passing, plus the scores and focus area we calculate from them.
• Videos and film (optional): a shooting video, a game-film clip and/or a link to game film, if you choose to send them.
• Mobile number (optional): only if you tick the text-updates box. See our Text Message Terms.
• Coaching records: the book and chapter our coaches assign, and any coaching calls you book.
• Email list (optional): your email if you join our updates list.
• Basic technical data: like any website, our hosting provider may log standard information such as IP address and browser type for security and reliability.

How we use it

• To run your account and membership, and unlock the right training for the athlete.
• So our coaches can review her profile and film and place her in the right book and chapter.
• To send account emails and, if you opted in, membership text messages.
• To keep the service secure, fix problems and improve our training.

We do not sell personal information, and we don't use the athlete's information for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run Her Prep Academy, and only what each one needs:

• Supabase — secure database, logins and private video storage.
• Netlify — website hosting.
• Stripe — payments and subscriptions.
• Twilio — delivering text messages to people who opted in, and alerts to our coaches.
• Anthropic (Claude) — an AI tool that reads the athlete's skill answers (not her name, email or phone number) and suggests a starting book for our coaches to review. A coach makes the final decision.
• Google — a private spreadsheet our coaching team uses to review quiz results.
• Calendly — scheduling Elite coaching calls.
• Kit — our optional email updates list.

We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text-messaging opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the text-message provider that delivers our messages.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of our members.

Videos and athlete information stay private

Quiz answers, videos and film are visible only to the member's own account and to our coaching staff. Videos are kept in private storage and are never posted publicly. Access is controlled by our database, not just the website.

How long we keep it

We keep account and athlete information while the membership is active and for a reasonable time after, so we can help if you come back. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your choices

• Texts: reply STOP to any message.
• Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any email.
• Access, correction or deletion: email arnav1kumar11@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days. California residents and others may have additional rights under their state's privacy laws, and we'll honor them.
• Billing: manage or cancel your subscription anytime from My account → Manage billing.

Security

We use encrypted connections, private storage and access controls to protect your information. No system is perfect, but we work to keep your data safe and will let you know if a breach affects you.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for important changes, let members know by email.
