Text message (SMS) terms

Program

Her Prep Academy membership updates. Her Prep Academy is an online basketball training membership for female players. We send a small number of account notification texts about a member's training — for example, when a coach has reviewed the athlete's player profile and her training book is unlocked. We do not send marketing or promotional texts through this program.

How families opt in

Texts to families are optional. After starting a free trial or membership on herprepacademy.com, the parent/guardian (or adult athlete) completes a one-time player profile quiz. On the final screen there is a separate, unchecked checkbox. To get texts, they must tick it and type in their mobile number. Joining is never required to buy a membership or use the site. The checkbox reads:

“Text me updates from Her Prep Academy about her membership — like when her book is unlocked. Optional; a few messages a month. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

Her Prep Academy coaches and owners who receive staff alerts (for example, “a new member is ready for book approval”) are members of our own team who gave us their numbers directly.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies. Most families receive 1–4 messages a month, usually when something changes in their membership.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Her Prep Academy does not charge for text messages.

How to stop or get help

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You'll get one message confirming you've been unsubscribed, and no more after that. Reply HELP for help, or email us at arnav1kumar11@gmail.com. To start again later, reply START.

Privacy

We use your mobile number only to send the texts described here. We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text-messaging opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers are only shared with the text-message provider that delivers our messages (Twilio). See our Privacy Policy for more.
