Terms & conditions

These terms apply to herprepacademy.com and the Her Prep Academy membership (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or starting a membership, you agree to them. If you're signing up on behalf of an athlete under 18, you confirm you're her parent or legal guardian and agree for both of you. Questions: arnav1kumar11@gmail.com.

1. Memberships and the free trial

  • Memberships (Basic, Premium and Elite, monthly or annual) are recurring subscriptions billed through Stripe until you cancel.
  • Every plan starts with a 3-day free trial. You add a payment method at checkout but aren't charged until the trial ends. Cancel before then and you won't be charged.
  • During the trial, the athlete takes her player profile quiz and gets her first 3 workouts. The rest of her plan unlocks when the first payment goes through. Elite coaching calls are scheduled after the trial.
  • Basic and Premium include one training book, chosen by our coaches after reviewing her player profile. Elite includes all four books.
  • You can cancel anytime from My account → Manage billing. Cancellation stops future charges; access continues until the end of the period you've paid for. Except where required by law, payments already made aren't refunded.
  • We may change prices or plan features in the future. We'll tell you before a price change affects your subscription, and you can cancel before it does.

2. Player profile quiz and coach placement

The quiz is taken once per account. An AI tool may suggest a starting book and chapter, but a Her Prep Academy coach makes the placement decision. Placements are coaching judgment, not a guarantee of any result.

3. Health and safety

Basketball training is physical activity and carries a risk of injury. Before starting, make sure the athlete is healthy enough to train, and check with a doctor if you have any concerns. She should warm up, use a safe space and proper equipment, and stop if anything hurts. An adult should supervise younger players. Our content is general training guidance, not medical advice, and you train at your own risk.

4. Our content

All workouts, drills, videos, books and other materials belong to Her Prep Academy. Your membership gives the athlete in your household a personal, non-transferable right to use them for her own training. Please don't share your login, or copy, record, resell or post our content.

5. Videos and information you send us

You keep ownership of any videos or film you upload. You give us permission to store them and let our coaches view them to coach the athlete. We won't post them publicly or use them in marketing without your separate permission. Only upload videos you have the right to share, and nothing inappropriate. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle information.

6. Text messages

If you opt in, we'll send membership text messages as described in our Text Message Terms. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Accounts

Keep your login details safe and accurate. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or misuse the service.

8. No guarantees

We work hard to provide great training, but we can't promise particular results, such as making a team or earning a scholarship. The service is provided “as is”, and it may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Her Prep Academy isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. We'll post the new date at the top and, for important changes, let members know. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
